Its December, it has crept up on me this year. Usually I have been shopping and writing lists, but with two weeks until the big day I am woefully behind. Family matters and the winter bug have delayed everything and I am only now getting even remotely organised.
So, I've bought a turkey and ham. Yes there is still much to do, but at least the basic elements have been taken care of. The next thing is to put the Christmas tree up. Some twinkly lights are sure to do the trick.
My publishers, Tree District Books, have said that my book Just Des(s)erts, will be released at the beginning of next year. That means that they are feverishly editing and then there will be a cover design. I wonder what they will have in mind and will I like it.
I am continuing to publish a story, The Legend of Dark City, on Wattpad. The link to it is on my website. It is frustrating to issue it weekly because I keep thinking how much more is to come. I want people to be able to see it all now. I will stick to my plan and continue to put a chapter a week on though.
