Voting, watching and (not) sleeping.

I am not going to bang on about the election but it happened so I should say something. My husband and I spent most of the night watching the results come in. I went to bed at 1am and got up again at 5.30am expecting that all would have become clear about who had won. I was wrong. One result is that I have gone from an avid watcher of the news to avoiding it at all costs. The newsreaders are delighting in the turmoil and as if there wasn't enough drama they are wildly speculating about what may come next. Can't watch that tripe anymore.

Having got that off my chest onto the good news. Our holiday is booked, a week in Rhodes with a great group of friends. Sun, good company, food and drink, lovely.

I am writing again having finished "Anthony" two weeks ago. If I'm not working on something I don't know what to do with myself. I really enjoyed the horror genre so I am going that way again with "Mr Fortuna". The words are flowing and in just a few days I have written 11,000 words. Go me.
